Our Method
NO MORE BORING LESSONS!
Where the teacher talks the whole time reading from a book and you just listen by checking your watch every two minutes.

Would you like to go to Italy and understand what
people
talk about, but above all be able to communicate and make yourself understood?
Then you are in the right place!
Here the focus is on you, each lesson is individual and customised to YOUR needs, wherever you are!
In 2019, I
spent a month in Rome at Dilit International House, studying their
communicative
method. Thanks to the diploma obtained, I have had the opportunity to
practice
teaching straight away, with students from all kinds of cultural and
personal
backgrounds. This has allowed me to develop a greater sensitivity towards
the
special needs of each type of student.
I also
attended two workshops dedicated exclusively to online teaching. The main focuses are:
making the most of online platforms and
teaching techniques for lexical competence and reading
comprehension
using audio-visuals (mainly short and feature films).
In
addition,
I have been a CILS (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) examiner since September 2022, as I attended an online
training course held by the University for Foreigners of Siena.
What do we do in class?
TALK, TALK AND TALK...
The lessons are
fun
and individual, with the main focus on conversation! That doesn't mean, however,
that
we never do grammar
Teaching doesn't only mean grammar rules, but also transmitting a culture: learning proverbs, idioms, slightly 'slang' expressions. That's why we only use authentic materials: texts and listening, but also videos and songs
How does the lesson work ?
Lessons take place on the Zoom platform,
you
can choose to download the app or access via the website. You will receive by email
my
personal link (which will always remain the same), just click on it and the lesson
has
started!
Every 45 minutes, we take a five-minute break.
Do I have to buy a book ?
It is not necessary to buy a book, as we
will
use many interactive materials such as videos, songs or audio files. Before the
lesson,
ypu will receive the necessary materials in pdf or word format. Depending on your
preference, you can decide whether to print them out or open them on your
computer/tablet directly in class.
After class, we will send you the materials used, notes and the homework with its solutions.
